Our 2027 programme features Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem—a masterpiece of profound beauty—under the distinguished leadership of conductor Michael Waldron.

Director — Michael Waldron

Michael Waldron is a premier conductor celebrated for vibrant interpretations. His teaching fuses structural discipline with expressive liberty, empowering singers to achieve greater tonal clarity and musical self-assurance.

Repertoire

Principal Work: Gabriel Fauré — Requiem in D minor. Additional selections include a curated range of French mélodie and sacred pieces designed to enhance diction and ensemble blend.

Sample Schedule
  • Day 1: General arrival, opening welcome, and initial rehearsals
  • Days 2–3: Morning vocal workshops and afternoon ensemble sessions
  • Day 4: Technical polish and final dress rehearsal
  • Day 5: Culminating public performance featuring Fauré’s Requiem
Investment & Booking

The Course fee is €180  (this covers tuition/rehearsals and performances) : the fee does NOT include; travel, accommodation, food or the sheet music (we can provide advice on all of these, just email us at issigeacima@gmail.com)
